Who We Are

The Gamelan Council is headed by its Director, Carlos Scott López, Esq., a human rights attorney with over two decades of experience in public health and international development with the United Nations, McKinsey and Company, and his independent legal practice serving and assisting refugees and asylum seekers. He oversees the Council's efforts in cooperation with leading researchers, academics, and development professionals throughout the world.  In pursuing projects, the Director considers the demands of the required tasks and who are best placed to assist.  The Gamelan Council consequently works closely with a variety of individuals, groups, and institutions in being able to serve its clients and address their goals in a fluid, flexible, and effective manner.
